WEDDING BELLS.

The wedding took place on Wednesday of Miss Tekotahanga Hof•ina, only daughter of Mr and Mrs Tewhareaki, of Blaketown. late of Araluira, to Mr Thomas Spencer, engineer of the “Jane,” third son of Mr and Mrs William Spencer, of the Bluff. The ceremony was ..solemnjsed at n a.m. in Holy Trinity Church by the Veil. Archdeacon York, the service .being choral and the “ Wedding March ” impressively played by Mrs York. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr O. Mason, wore a beautiful frock of white satin, with white silk overdress, with embroidered veil and orange blossoms. She .was attended by three bridesmaids (cousins of the bride). Miss j Te Nakau West wore a dainty ] frock of pink silk and white lace | tunic overdress, k garbardine hat j with pink roses : . Miss Tuhuru i Mason wore rose pink silk with j mop cap; and Miss Nellie j Williams, a dear little dot, made a - charming little flower girl in blue, silk and mob cap to match. Mr • Hector Shepherd carried out the j .duties of best man. The wedding breakfast look place at the resi- j denee of the bride’s parents.
