WESTLAND HOSPITAL BUILDING FUND.
HOKITIKA LADIES’ OOM-
MITTEE.
RESU'LT OF LAST j* BALL.
The Secretary of the WestWb Hospital and Charitable Aid Board acknowledges with thanks jjpppt of the sum of £IOO 19/10 IfSp ll Miss Winnie of the Ladies’ Ball Committee. This sum nett proceeds of the Building Fund BerJfFßall held on the 9th and 10th of August last.
With the : Government subsidy added the Building Fund will benefit to the amount of £354, and the Ladies’ Ball Committee are to be congratulated on the success of then efforts. The fact, that the total expenses in connection with the two nights’ function amount onlyto £o 1/ speaks volumes for their organising ability, and it is to be hoped that the pronounced success of last year’s ball will encourage them to organise a similar function for the same laudable object this year. We are sure that those who attended the two enjoyable evenings given by the Ladies' Ball Committee on August 9th and 10th in last year will look forward twith pleasure to a repetition. A balance sheet is published in this issue and the collectors books may be inspected at, the office of the Westland Hospital and Charitable Aid Board. THE BALANCE SHEET. Statement of receipts and expenditure on acconntof the ladies’ hospital ball committee, Hokitika, for the Westland Hospital Building Fund Benefit Ball Hokitika on August 9th, 1916.
