The Norwegian steamer Cissy, coal laden from Chili, has been mined and sunk.
A MINE SWEEPER SUNK. "PARIS, June 19. A mind-sweeper struck a mine *- u the Bay of Biscay and sank. A boiler explosion killed seven ofthe crew.

The submarine toll for tlie last four months is 822 British vessels of over 1600 tons and 135 under 1600 tens.
During tho same period 300 Jshipi were attacked unsuccessfully. Arrivals and sailing for British ports averaged 2500 weekly. The total loss is unofficially computed at 1,760,000 tons.
