According to enemy communiques, tho British, after burning. villages abandoned their advanced positions in th© unhealthy Struma Valloy including Kuiptu Prosenio on the main Doi-ran-Seres railway, which w T as doubtless destroyed at these points. Also Baraklcdjuraa, which is of some strategic importance, standing at the entrance to Rupel Pass. Tho/ British, however, still hold the east bank of th# Stroma and some country beyond.
