ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE
At the above yards yesterday, 71 head of cattle and 216 sheep were penned for competition. The attendance of buyers was up to the usual, and prices were on a par with late quotations at these yards.
Messrs W Jeffries and Co. sold for J. Nolan, 216 ewes and wethers, all told, at 27s 6d. Cattle: for Mr H. Johnstone, eleven ‘ handy Weight bullocks from £12,12s 6d to £9 17s 6d; five heifers from £7 12s6d to £6 12s v 6d. For Mr D.Bradley, 'five heifers from £8 os to £0 los. For Messrs Condon Bros., twenty-eight prime bullocks from £l6 5s to £l2 2s 6d; one heifer at £lO 12s fld. For Mr F. Williams, one fat 1 cow £l2 17s 6d. Messrs G. W. Moss and Co. sold for Mr Jno. Adamson, seven bullocks from £l3 2s 6d to £9 10s; two cows at £9 12s 6d ;.nine heifers from £ll 2s 6d to £7 15s. For Mr Kelly, two heifers at £8 7s 6d.
