ROLL OF HONOUR.

Mr and Mrs John Wells, of Woodstock, were advised last evening of the death from wounds of their second so n , Private John Wells, received during the figlfting in France. The deceased left with the sth Reinforcements. and saw active service at Gal lipoli, and later in France. Four brothers volunteered for service, two being still at the front, while one has been invalided home; Air R. AVells is also a brother. The family will have the sympathy of the community. Tile knowledge that he has done his host for his country should help to soften the blow .the losb will cause. Deceased was a native of AVoodstock, and', was very popular among a largo circle of friends.

F. F. Smee reported died of wounds is stated to ho a former resident of ITari Hnri. It is not certain that the identity is correct.
