NOTICES OB MOTION. 1. —The Chairman to move:—That the acc. u i s presented for the month of May, 1017, as revised and recommended for payment by the Einnnrc Committee, amounting to £ be passed for paymtfnt. 2. —The Chairman to move:—“That the allocation of revenue for the current year, as proposed in the Treasurer's statement presented at the last meeting of. the Council, bo now considered and adopted.” 3. —The Chairman to move:—“That public notice be given of the, intention of the Council to make and levy at tin* next regular mooting of the Council a general rate of six farthings 'in the £ on the capital value of the rateable "property within the County ol Westland, in accordance with the provision of section 117 of tht CountiesAct, 1903, the said rate to he payable fourteen days after the 1 eth duly, 1017.” •I.—The Chairman to move; —“T hat the attention of the Government he drawn to the desirability of re-mam-ing places in Westland bearing enemy alien names." .y. —.(V. Griunnond to move;— ■ Jiafc the expenditure recommended by the Bruce Bay and Okuru District Improvement Committees for local works, be authorised.
