The police to-day visited and search-' ed the office and premises of Albert Vance Steward, a second-hand dealer in .Cornhill 'Street. They seized a quantity of correspondncce, etc., and arrested Steward on a charge of keeping a common gaming house. Thomas' Nicholson and Stanley Brook were also arrested and charged with being found without lawful excuse in a common gaming house.

To-day the police arrested George Dylirberg on charges of assisting Albert Vatice Steward, who was arrested the previous day for the conduct ot a common gaming house and betting in a public place. Dyhrberg was taken before the Magistrate and remanded on bail till to-morrow.
