London, June 1 The war correspondent Mr Massey reports : General Cbauvel’s engineers and mounted troops on 23rd May dashingly destroyed twenty miles of railway south-east of Beersheba. The Anzacs and th 9 Imperial Cavalry with covering raiding detachments, reached to within five miles of Beersheba, repulsing the attack of two brigades of Turkish cavalry.
