KOKATARI STOCK SALE. At the above yards yesterday Messrs W. Jeffries and Co. held a supplementary autumn sale of stock, when 140 head of cattle, 20 lambs and 15 fat sheep were penned. There was a good attendance of buyers and all lines were cleared at satisfactory prices. Good strong calves made to £3 ss, extra good calves £3 12s 6d; yearling to 15 months steers £4 15s, ditto heifers to £4 7s 6d; eighteen months to 2-year steers £6 10s to £8 17s 6d, ditto heifers to £6_7s 6d, two and a- half steers (forward) made to £lO 12s ou; dry cows £5 17s Gd to £7; cows in profit to £B, springers £7 to £7 ss; line of cows and calves at £6; one 3yoar bull at £B, ditto at £4 17s 6d; fat bullocks (light) to £lO 15s.
