Hastings, May 26 At the adjourned inquest on Ruperl Money, a newspaper runner, Mr S. E M’Garthy, Corouer, found: —‘'That cJ\:c---s: d ; 0., the aftetn. ou of M»y 23, was killed through being run over by e motor car when being driven by Wbaitgarca Winbana ; that ibe said Wbaingaroa Wiribana was negligent in such drivir g, in that be failed to sound his horn, other traffic then beirg in the immediate vicinity; that he failed to keep a reasonable lookout for such other tieffic ; that be was driving at an excessive rate of speed. I further find that negligence was the immediate cause of deceased's death.” Wirihaua was arrested and charged with manslaughter. He was remanded on bail, himself in £IOO and two sureties of £SO each.

Curtailed hailway Service
