At the Opera House to-night McLean’s Pictures will present one of the biggest programmes it isi possible to present, when that popular and clever actor, Frank Mills, will be seen in a picture play of rare strength and remarkable “plot, “The House of Mirrors,” in five big reels, and can be well termed a mutual masterpiece de luxe. The story opens with a tremendous situation in which a husband finds) his wife in a compromising situation. He obtains a divorce, retaining custody of liis son, the mother keeping the daughter. Years pass and the husband becomes rich, while the woman fails, and is a frequent visitor to tho infamous gambling house known as “The House of Mirrors.” The daughter being educated in a convent, does not know this. On a vacation the girl visits the gambling house and there meets among thetelients her own brother and a young man named Marti.ndale.' 'Hie brother falls in love with his sister and they are about to be married, Tho discovery of the true relationship and the stirring events that precede make this one of the most startling and sensational pictures screened. It is a story taken from real life and deals with the dangers of divorce. “Should the children suffer for the sins of the parents.” The third episode of “The Mysteries of Myra,” will also be screened.
