Years pass and the husband beoomea rich, while the woman fails, and is a frequent visitor to the infamous gambling housa known aB “fxi& House of Mirrots,” The daughter being edncatei in a convent, does not know thin. On a vacation the girl visits the gambling house and there meets among the clients her own brother and a young man named Martindale. The brother falls in love with his sister and they are about to marry.
