Military Appeal.

HAMILTON, May 25. Before tlie Second Military Board yesterday, F. L. Corrigan, a farmer, of Ohaupo, ho had been granted exemption till May 30th, was confronted with a report received by the Board to the effect that he had openly obtained exemption by squaring Mr. Hockley, one of the members of the Board. Appellant was closely examined by tlie Chairman (Mr. E. Earl, K.C.,) in the matter, but he swor e that th® report was untrue and that he had never approached any member of tho Board as alleged.
