Glynn Now Leads. (Received May 16, at 12 20 p.m.) Sydney, May 16 Only the first progress return of the soldiers’ vote, has so far been received. It has materially improved the positions of several Minister al candidates, including Mr Glynn, who is now leading. South Australia’s Wh?at.
Adelaide, May 16 The Government statistician’s preliminary estimate of the State cereal harvest gives the wheat yield at 43,850,972 bushels, or 9,696,468 above the recsrd of 1915-16, an average of 15.85 bushels par acre. Oats 1,825,503 buahrls, or 308,871 below the previous year.
