Messrs Glynn and Mahon are still in doubt. King O'Malley was defeated in Darwid, Tasmania, but another election is necessary here, owing to Mr Howroyd’o death.

So far, one district bas carried an increase of ‘ licenses, while Ipswich, Toowonga and Maryborough favour reduction. In three State bye-elections, the Liberals won two, and the Official Labour Party one. Tbe Vaughan Government has now only nineteen seats in the Houee» against 22 Liberals and four Offioial Laqour.
