Gable Assichtion and Reuter-) London, May 6 A French communique states that the enemy north of Soissons delivered at night time a large number of counter attacks with large effectives against positions captured yesterday. The struggle was particularly violent in the region of Laffaunt, north of Froidmogt Farm, north of Bray and Laou, north-east Cuuncy. Everywhere the enemy’s sfforts were smashed up and the assaulting waves beaten back.
We entirely maintained onr gains which we now are organising. It confirmed the Germans’ sanguinary losses both in yesterday’s fighting and counter attacks last night.
