Auckland, April 24 As a result of heavy rain, the platform at the southern end of Rangaiu station on the Kaipara line, slipped into the river. It is stated that tbe station building is also slipping. Communication north of Helensvilla is suspended.
Seed Wheat.
Wellington, April 23
The Board of Trade has decided that the price of machine-dressed seed wheat shall not be more than 1/ per bushel above ggc-tted prices. The Board considers thia price reasonable, provided the wheat is bona fide sold and used for seed purposes only.
South African Goal. Wellington, April 23 Some of the steamers trading out of W. Hug ton are using South African coal, brought here during the 1913 Strike.
