On the Tigris.
Wellington, April 24 The High Commissioner reports don, April 23rd, at 2.45 p.m. Mesopotamia official—Oa Saturday night tbe enemy evacuated the remainder: of Istabulat position, porticu of which we stormed and consolidated oa Saturday, At daybreak on Sunday ws pressed the pursuit, capturing prisoners ard a Bix inch howitzer. The enemy were found to have occupied another position rightwards of the Tigris, six miles nearer Hamara. The position is being attacked.
