LONDON, April 23rd
The prompt hammering administered to the Germans in Channel was due to the speed and armament of two of the newest 'British destroyers. The engagement only occupied ninety minutes, after the raid. The GB7 belonged to the newest t>ei - man class, and was of the fastest type and powerful and heavily armed. Owing to the speed of the Germans magnificent skill was required to bring them into battle, but then it was soon over, the fusilade only lasting fifteen misnullcs. Two of the ctne'my v * sunk within five irfinutes.
