Sir Conan Doyle in an article in the Daily Chronicle supports the contention that British soldiers have completed ly gained the supremacy over the Germans. He shows that while Germany holds 34,000 British prisoners, Britain ho!d3 70,000 Germans,
British guns 03rptured by the Germans do not exceed 70, while the British have captured over 400 from the Germans.
German Food Question
Amsterdam, April 19
The Vorwaarts states the Berlin strike was only ended after substantial concessions were extorted. The Food Commissioner was forced to promise that rations would be more fairly distributed, hoarded provisions commandeered, and protit making, whereof there was the bitterest complaints, stopped.
