The following' notification appears in this week’s gazette:— Ihe rate of poati'e l->r parcels addressed to soldiers and nurses of British New Zealand, Australian, or other colonial troops on active Service in ary part of the world (including mem do vs of New Zealand Volunteer Siste-hon-J) are:— a D. For parcels not exceeding 31b 1 0. These rates nlscr apply to parcels addressed to New Zealand sailors on boa r d any of H. M. ships manned by New Zealand crews. The maximum weight for parcels under the regulation is 71b. Parcels for soldiers, sailors, otc. on active service cannot lie registered or insured.
