A freezing Chamber hand at* Imlay Freezing works aged 25, years in giving evidence before the Military Service Appeal Board at Wanganui stated that hts weekly earnings averaged from £5 to £B. The appelant said there was n shortage in the department he was engaged in with the result that ho worked at times 20 hours at a stretch and all day on Sundays.
