Germany and Austria.

LONDON, April b. Tho “ Morning Post” says there is some disagreement between Austria and Germany regarding the fresh peace move. The “Lokal Anzioger” on Monday announced semi-officially that Germany would co-operate with Austria in a new proposal on the lines of Count Czer zin’s (of Austria) interview but now tho “Kocluisehe Zeitung” denies that report, adding merely that Germany is still willing to enter negotiations for an honourable peace. It is believed here that both announcements represented the official German view when made, and .that Germany hoped that the first report would induce tne Congress at Washington to insist upon a modified war policy but- President Wilson’s address has destroyed that hope. Germany then disavowed her intention fearing that it would indicate weakness. Count Ilolhveg’s conference with Cotint Czernin lias ended.
