HOKITIKA GOLF CLUB.
The annual m-rt.ng of the Hokitika Golf Club was held in the School Gommiltee rooms on Wednesday eveciog. There was a good attendance of members, MrJ. G. Macfarlane was voted to the chair. After adoption of the Annual Report and Balance Sheet the following officers were elected. Captain—Mr J. 0. Macfarlane. Secretary and Treasurer—-Mr W. Wilson. Assistant Secretary—Mr Staveley. Committee Mesdanns Williams and Boyd, Messrs Nilder, 3|alfroy, Brook, McGregor and Pratt. The sum of oue and a half guineas being match entry fees, was voted to
the Soldiers Tobacco Fund. The following prize winners of the Ladies Club were presented with their trophies— Rad Orc;3 monthly meda’s —Mrs Boyd, Mrs Wilsou, Mrs Macfarlane, Miss Moore (3). Junior monthly medal (M s Wilson’s troph'S?) —M'S’ Casey 10 pta, 1 ; Mr. W. Macfarlane 7 pta 2. Lidias Golf Union medals Silver tueda', Miss Moore bronze medal, Mrs Wil to. At a subsequent Committee meeting it was decided to open the season on Saturday April 7th. The usual mixed /oatvome match is ti be played after the holidays.
