Keller (Mr Sellers) prospecting licsnse South Hokitika.—Adjourned for County Council approval. J. R. Daun (Mr Sellers for Mr Wells) license for taiirace.—Withdrawn. RESERVED JUDGMENT. The Warden gave his reserved judgment in the suit F. B. Powell (Mr Wells) v L. McLaehlan (Mr Murdoch). Mr Sellers and Mr Park appeared for the parties. This was a suit for the cancellation of dams and water race at Brighton Terrace on the grounds of non usage. The Warden Btated the plaintiffs had failed to prove non usage for six months, the suit being dismissed. Costs allowed to defendant totalling £6 16/6.
