OPERA HOUSE TO-NIGHT.
Picture Benefit Fcr Tobacco Fund
To-nigkt at the Opera House a monster benefit will be tendered by Mr W. J. Pritchard for fcbe Ovetseaa Tobacco Fund. The occasion will bs made memorable by the very fine programme which is to be screen.d. A splendid photo play by the Fox Company, entitled “The Idler,” will be the star picture of the evening. This is a story from the pen of Mr 0. Haddon Chambers, the Australian writer of high repute. It deals with society life and will depict some very fine soenes. Tbe cast is admirably filled and the acting throughout is of a very high order. The programme will include other pictures of interest, and beet of all be supplemented by the Tnoaday night orchestra, which is a happy, musical combination, and will be responsible for an attractive entertainment. The special object of the benefit to supplement the Tobacco Fund, is one that will command itself to all, and a large and overflowing attendance may be looked for. The entercainment will open with the National Anthem at 8 o’clock sharp. The Town Band has been invited to play outeide the Opera House prior to the performance.
