POLLARD’S PICTURES.
A treat is in store on Monday evening for picture patrons, when the inimitable Marguerite Clark will be seen on the picture screen as “ Mici,” the fourth sister in the Famous Players star production “ Seven Sisters.” Criticising Marguerite Clark on the production of “ The Seven Sisters ” a Sydney paper is as follows :—“ She is a real actress! She is pretty. She can smile in more than sixty different ways, and each more charming than the last. She can give you arch loiks. She can convey more meanings with her eyes than you can find in the Encyclopedia Britanniea,” Great interest was shown in the excellent official war film illustrating the wonderful organisation of the Royal Army Medical Corps, and showing how carefully the wounded are tended at the front, iu the base hospital, and in the hospitals and the convalescent homes in the Mother Country. An exceptionally fine scenic screened the beautiful scenery of tbe river Vieg (Switzerland), as seen from the observation car of a tourist train; and a unique Pathe-colour film showed as iu their native habits some wellknown English freshwater fish.
