To be run under the New Zealand Rules of Trotting. Pedigree, age, colour, and sex must accompany nominations. All horses must be ridden or driven in S roper Jockey Costume, colours to bo eclared with nomination. Placed horses doing faster times at Eumara or Westland Racing Clubs’ Meetings on 9th and lltli April, may be re-nominated for a higher class at this meeting, provided such re-nomination is in the hands of the Secretary by 5 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, lltli APRIL, 1917. Rule 172, Rules of Trotting : By the entry of, or endeavouring to enter a horse, every person having or subseacquiring any interest in such horse, shall be deemed to accept all the conditions and restrictions imposed or implied by these Rules, and to be barred from questioning the action or conduct of the Club or other body holding a gports Meeting, or of any otllcial of the Club, or such other body, in respect of such horse, or of any . person connected therewith otherwise than is provided for in Part XXX.
