Y.M.C.A. WORK.
The Latest Reports From London Sling Camp.—The extensions here of a considerable nature are in pro-,-greae. When finished we shall have a splendid plant, including Canteen, Room, Quiet Room, Officers’ J.ounge, Reading and Writing Omens and Concert Hall, with sleeping accommodation for the lady workers. Two Secretaries will be in charge. Mr Morion is here at present. Codford—Extensions to this hut are in progress, and we are adding a quiet room 30x25. Ia addition, we have opened a room on the Y.D. Camp, : where there are a large number of men, quite a necessary work. These poor fellows are in neßdof all we can do for them. I saw them, talked with them, and their gratitude is uu- . bounded.^
When these works are completed, we think they will cover our requirements for the war period, that is as far as buildings are concerned, unless something unforeseen happens. We have to plan for the present and leave the future in God’s bands. We have felt that you would desire us to be assured cf our men’s comforts in England as well as in France.
