To be run under the New Zealand Rules of Trotting. Pedigree, age, colour, and sex must accompany nominations. All horses must be ridden or driven in proper Jockey Costume, colours to be declared with nomination. Placed horses doing faster times at Kumara or Westland Racing Clubs’ Meetings on 9th and llth April, may be re-nominated for a higher class :ft this meeting, provided such re-nomination is in the hands of the Secretary by 5 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, llth APRIL, 1917. Rule 172, Rules of Trotting: By the entry of, or endeavouring to enter a horse, every person having or, subsequently acquiring any interest in such horse, shall be deemed to accept all the conditions and restrictions imposed or implied by these Rules, and to be barred from questioning the action or conduct of the Club or other body holding a gports Meeting, or of any oilicial of the Club, or such other body, in respect of such horse, or of any person connected therewith otherwise than is provided for in Part XXX.
