There can be .no two opinions about the success achieved by the Vitagraph’s Blue Ribbon 10,000 dollar prize drama “ The Sins of the Mothers,” the star feature in Monday night’s display at the Princess Theatre. It is a picture play with a mighty appeal and a lesson that every woman should profit by. It is the Vitagraph’s greatest dramatic picture play since “ The Juggernaut.” In “ The Sins of the Mothers,” the 10,000 dollar prize drama. Anita Stewart plays the part of the girl whose inherited taint given to her by a mother who had driven her husband to suicide, cannot be surpressed although reared in a life of seclusion. Earle Williams enacts the trying role of the husband, whose fight for his 'honour and his wife’s ended so tragically. On the same evening the wellknown startling film depicting “ Mid-

night at Maxims ’ a will be the supporting feature to the dramatic star. “ Midnight at Maxims ” is an expose of the gay abandon and carrying on at New York’s merriest and maddest night club after the clock strikes 12, Hosts of pretty aud titled women are seen dancing and ■ mingling with the professionals whose parades, revues and ballets are a revelation in the art of dancing.
