The Waitahu Camp

Reefton, March 6 Last evening Lieut Webb delivered an address to the officers and men at Waitahu Camp on rifle and bayonet attack. The lecturer Bta'ed and explained explicitly the .five recognised positions of attack. Major Jeffries, commanding officer, who presided, thanked Lieut Webb for his interesting and instructive address. He also thanked the men for the appreciative hearing they gave the lecturer. He also announced that every evening one of the officers would bo called on to give an address, and if time permitted before camp was struck a demonstration of attack drill would be given. Chaplain Captain Carter delivered a most interesting address on the manners and customs of India.
