For horses which have been in one of the Counties of Bailor, Inangahua, Grey mouth, or West land, or any West Coast Borough, for at least three months immediately prior to the race, and owned by residents of the said Counties or Boroughs. Horses in this event will be handicapped to do 4mius or better. Placed liorses doing faster times at Kumara or Westland Pacing Clubs’ Meetings on 9th and llth April, may be re-nominated for a higher class at this meeting, provided such re-nomination is in the hands of the Secretary by 5 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, llth APEIL, 1917.
