ADDINGTON STOCK MARKET. Per Press Association. —Copyright. CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 13. Fat Cattle.—There was a medium yarding. The market was very steady at freezing rates, with good competition. Best steers £22, ordinary £l6 2s to £l7 10s. Unfinished bought by graziers at up to £l3 15s, best heifers to £l6 15s, medium £ll 10s to £ls; from £lO to £16.. 'Store ICaitjtle.—There was a good yarding as regards both quality and quantity. The demand was fair, witn no oppreciable rise from last week. It anything good cattle were cheaper; 3yar old steers £9 to £10s; two-year old £8; 18-months and two-years £6 los; forward cows were in good demand an £8 to £lO. Fat Sheep.—-There was a fair yarding of indifferent quality and the marw ket opened firm above freezinf rates, but eased as the sale proceeded. Wethers, prime, 33s to 395, a few extra quality to 435, medium 30s to 30s 6d; lighter and unfiinislied sorts 28s to 30s. 'Ewes, heavy, 32s to o7s; medium 27s to 31s 6d; lighter 23s to 26s 6d. Store sheep had the heaviest yarding of the season, and the demand for good young ewes was very keen. Good conditioned sound mouthed ewes, also good forward wethers and ewes for fattening, were in good demand. Store Lambs. —Excepting very forward sorts were easier. Two-tooth ewes, good, 33s to 36s 6d; 4, 6 and 8-tooth Romney cross ewes 31s to 345; sound mouth ewes 26s to 30s, older ewes for fattening 22s to 265. Lambs, good, 19s 6d to 225.
