Women’s Splendid Part
LONDON, Jan. Jtt. Mr , Addison, at the Mansion House, said the women had done a splendid part in the war. Half a million were engaged in munitions production, and the numbers iveie increasing at the rate of thirty-four thousand monthly. He warmly tributed the work of the Young Women’s Christian Association. Lord Sydenham said we could not ovcr-appreciate the women’s wartime work, and their readiness to risk their lives.
