London, Jan 22 The Daily Chronicle’s Amsterdam correspondent states that reliable news from Germany shows when her naval and military preparations are complete Germany will suddenly revive a widespread and most violent warfare. Her large new armies, her numerous new submarines will scon be ready.
The new armies are said to number 120 corps and consist large’y of men between forty and forty-five years of age, with the youngest levies already in concentrated German depots, and suggesting the confirmation of the reports of an early attempt at a new offensive in the west.
There seems every probability of it opening in a few weeks.
