An Infamous Trick. AMSTERDAM, Jan 19, An infamous trick against Belgians condemned for espionage at Lovivain has been revealed. A man who escaped was re-captured and condemned to death. Ho asked to see ft Belgian Priest for his final concession, and condemned to death. Ho asked to but the German officials replied that all priests were equal before God, and that ho might see a German one. The Belgian accepted and under tho seal of the confessional gave the so-
called priest a message to eight friends whom lie devised to vvarn to be careful as the German police were oil their
tracks. The priest, solemnly promised to deliver the message and to keep tho secret involute. He gave the condemned man Iris blessing, but within twenty-four hours right men were arrested, tried and shot. . The priest was a German Sergt-Major in disguise. His name is known to the Belgians and he demands removal to the Eastern front, front, fearing assasination.
