TOWN HALL TO-NIGHT. The local recruits for the 25tli Reinforcements who leave to-morrow lor Trentham, will be faravelled at tne Town Hall to-niglit at 8 o’clodk. The following are tho Westland men departing on this occasion and are cordially invited to' the gathering in their honour: Gordon Harcourt, Hokitika. R. W. Manzoni, Ivumara. P, Muir, Three Mile. G. P. Sullivan, Welicka. Rev, Warnock Woodstock. J, Peako (N.CLO.), Hokitika. At the Town Hall to-night, the principal speakers will be the Mayor, Messrs Michel, Williams, and Rev. Warnock. Several ladies and gentlemen will assist with the musical programme, ana as a round off the Overseas Club will entertain the departing recruits and the performers at supper after tli* farewell. During tho supper at tho Overseas Club to-night a wcleome home will bo accorded Private J. J.
