Mrs Hiodmareh, of RseftOD, received a telegram from tha Hon J. Allen, Minister of Defence, stating that as the result of the Court of E-.qmry, her husband, Corpl. Ralph St John Hindmarsb, previously reported wounded, is now declared to be killed in action oa September 25, 1916. The deceased soldier was well known io Reeftou, aud was universally popular, and tha news of his dsa h . will come as a shock to hia many frieads. He leaves a wife aud five children, two eons and three daugb- ( tere. ..The eldest son o c deceased ia also at the front in France.
