* Bert Le Blanc The first night’s piece to be staged next Monday by Bert Le Blancs clever musical comedy ‘ Revue ’ company will consist of the catchy two act musical Revues-—" The gay Mrs Cohen and In old Seville. The adventures of the two Yiddish comedians, " Ike Cohen and " Morris Levi ” prove a source of laughter whenever they are on the stage—whether they are in Madrid fighting wild bails and looking for wives or back in New York with Ike Cohen married and being ruined by the gay Mrs Coh6n. The settings and dressing of these two pieces lend themselves to color scheme and full advantage has been taken by the management on the gorgeous dressing and mounting not only of these two pieces but of every production for Bpecial Bcenio settings are carried for each Revue. The company is complete in principals, chorus, ballot and orchestra, belonging to the American school of travesty work that calls for quick rapid action and smart repartee, the members of tba company pat a go and dash into their work that carries the audience along with them—and the piece goes with a awing that the audience do not fail to recognise. The box open is now open at Mrs Browne’s where seats may be reserved on the dress oire’e and front seats for the three nights. Tbe first change piece on Tuesday night will be ibe three act story of Monte Carlo, “ Fuzzy Wuzzy ” a bright mu«iml revue written more on the English lines of musical comedy than any of the other Revnea.
