Two billon Troops. {Australia & N.Z. Cable Association.) .LONDON, Jan. 3. The British front on the West is now nearly a hundred miles, on which about two million troops are massed. LONDON, Jan. 3. General Haig reports that the enemy artillery is very active in the neighbourhood of Souchez and the southern half of the Ypres salient. LONDON, Jan. 4. A Paris communique reports nothing except the usual cannonade in differ ent parts of the front.
