The following letteT has been received by the Clerk of the Hutt County Council from the Belmont Progressive Association:—"My committee wish to express their appreciation for the good work recently carried out by your Council on tSiis side of . the river and also their appreciation of the untiring interest taken in the matter on our behalf by Cr. Dyer." The management of King George Theatre wishes to make it known that it was not in any way responsible for the over-ibookinig of seats at Miss Bartosh's Becital on Monday night.
