The so-called divorce problem has had many expositions at the hands of dramatists and scenarists, but perhaps never before from the amazing viewpoint .of "The Divorcee," Norona Shearer ;s new Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer talking vehicle, which opens on December 6th at King George theatre.
Remaining distinctly human, with no ■tinge of the academic, the picture easts a new light on modern divorce, and, in cidentally affords Miss Shearer one of the most startling, as well as the most charming roles of her career.
Chester Morris plays opposite Miss Shearer as the 2iuslband,. and Bofbert Montgomery and Cdiirad Nagel supply interesting performances as the lovers ;who furnish an enticing background oZ amours to her domestic profblems.
