Fannie invites the Professor and Spar row to a party, where the Baron has induced Julius and the gypsies to entertain with a knife-throwing exhibition. Julius 's men kidnap Ruth - and the fortunetellers promise Jfonnie they will rescme her neiee. The rescue is

thrilling.
