WORKSHOPS SITE.
Mr. Walter Nash, MJP V has received the enclosed letter from the Minister of Railways, the Hon. W. A. Veitch, with regard to the clearing of the old v/orkshops site at Pe.ipne:^—
"With, reference to youtI"letter of tlie 25th October, regarding ithe subdivision of the old workshops site at. Pctone, 1 desire te inform you that plans of our proposals in connection with the road ; drainage and -water requirements for this siie have'been, ro-ferrf-.d to the Petone Borough. Council for approval.'' The. ground has^ I am iiiformed, been cleared aivffieiently to pevmit- of the road construction being 'proceerJed with, and when tte Council approves the< plans the roading work" will be put in hand. We also anticipate that'the "survey of the necessary sub-division will be completed shortly.
