IMPROVING THE BUS SERVICE.

The members of the Chamlben of Commerce have lately been considering the question of an improvement in the bus service from the outlying districts into the town. At t&e present time the best facilities are not provided for residents in the Waiwetu or- Epnni distrieis wishing to ceme into the Hutt for the purpose of shopping or attending the theatre.

It is understood that the question of arranging; a now time table is being corsidered by the Bus Department and the Chamber is anxious to make representations to the Department on bebalf of the business people, of the town.

A general meeting of the Chamber wili be called in the near future to give them an opportunity of expressing their views on the matter.
