DORSET GATHERING.

Asocial gathering of memlbers of the New Zealand Society of Dorset Men. J4lbas held last week at the -home of Mr H. Poole, Waterloo Road, to entertain the president, Mr. C. H. Dement and fais wife, who have attained their golden wedding. In congratulating Mr and Mrs. Dement, Mr. Poole wished them many more years of health and happiness. He presented them with a clock, suitably engraved, from the past-presidents and committee, as a mark of the respect «nd esteem in whioi. they were' held by the society. • Mr. Dement thanked all present for -their good wishes. . .
