During the fire brigade function last week when a presentation was made to Superintendent T. W. Slinri, Cr. Of tre present mayor, Sir Alexander Roberts, Mr. Mcßain said that if he was more cautious than Mr. Strand, he yet sow to it that Lower Hutt maintained its present proud position and what was done, was done well.
