The Wainui-o<mata Women's Institute held its monthly meeting' in the Ptiblic Hall, there being a good attendance to listen to a most interesting talk Iby Mrs Meaide, of Earshem, Norfolk,, on'-.•' 'Institute WoTk in England.'». Mrs iMeade, who has been connected with /the Earsheon Institute'since ,1918, told of the good work done in the interests of the country. "It is wonderful," . ishe remarked, "fchat by this Institute movement all British-speaking people are united, and the women form one !big sisterhood.". In concluding her remarks Mrs Meade said that she would like to believe that "WX" stood for "Women's Influence" for the good of their country. . A hearty vote of thanks was accorded to Mrs. Meade for her much appreciated talk. Afternoon tea brought an enjoyaible afternoon to a close. -
